Haslet Elementary

The new Haslet Elementary campus, which opened in the fall of 2020, includes most of the modern safety features and all of the instructional spaces now standard in NISD’s newest elementary schools.

Beginning with schools that opened in 2021, NISD began adding bi-directional amplifiers (BDAs) to support two-way radio communications with first responders as now required by code. Because Haslet Elementary does not have a BDA, and that is now the standard in NISD, funds from the 2023 bond would be used to that additional safety feature.
